I have been working with Cody for a number of months now and am thrilled with the results. Cody's style is fun, innovative and motivational. With Cody's help, I am in better shape now than I was in my 20's. Not to mention that I look forward to my training sessions! The things that I have learned from him will help to keep me fit the rest of my life. He is terrific and I'm quite certain you will be happy with the results of your time spent with him.

Cody is the most positive and supportive trainer I have ever worked with. He values his clients- and always goes the extra mile to make sure that I am getting what I need out of the sessions and that I am working towards meeting (and making) new goals. Cody listens to what his clients feedback and creates customized workouts to improve their health and fitness levels.

I never saw myself as someone who would ever go to a gym to work out. But, prompted by my colleague, who has really improved in his confidence and demeanor since working out over the past year, I decided to give it a try. I decided to go the whole hog, and took on a trainer as well. It was Cody who kept me focused on the goals I set for myself. He provided excellent guidance, which included a work out plan, and proper, mindful eating. His manner is both professional and personable, and he was definitely a key factor in meeting my goals of loosing weight, gaining muscle mass, and working out consistently. He is a terrific trainer. ![]()

I choose Cody because of his holistic approach to fitness. It's not just about strength training or losing weight, it's about getting healthier overall. He pushes me to go further and harder than I think I can, but without making feel like I'm in boot camp. He kicks my ass and I keep coming back --- that's the highest compliment I can give. I feel better than I have in at least 10 years.![]()

One thing I've really appreciated is Cody's guidance on tracking the deficit between my calories consumed and burned. He showed me a brand new way of calculating the deficit daily so I can clearly see when I will drop each pound of fat. It's an extremely easy calculation I can continue to use to help me maintain my weight loss as well. I'm one who needs a lot of accountability in my eating and exercising. Cody has been very diligent in monitoring the entries in my journal, this has been a definite plus for me in achieving my fat loss goals. During the short time I've been with Cody, I've achieved my fat loss goals! He's now moving me into muscle building. It's fascinating to work with Cody as he constructs a new routine for me that is now focused on muscle building instead of fat loss. He's incredibly knowledge about this and I'm looking forward to getting toned as we work through this new routine.

I just wanted to say hello and thanks. You are the sweet, encouraging, insightful voice in my head that has lead me to some habits such as:
-Riding my bike and taking the bus as much as possible. I've been riding my bike to and from my coffee job, to the farmer's market, to the grocery store, bank, post office, you name it. This is helping me to stay fit and happy on a hectic schedule... hooray!
-Buying almost all my food at the farmer's market. I go shopping once a week at the farmer's market and get tasty, organic, local food. Holy cow, food tastes good when I shop this way and holy cow, do I feel good when I eat this way.
-Eating whole foods as much as possible. I am such a label reader now because of you! If I'm going to have something decadent, I have something decadent and lo and behold, if I eat the real thing, I only want a little bit. Just like you told me, my brain and body gets all the proper signs to say, "Wow, a tablespoon of half and half is plenty and all I want of that sort of thing for the next three weeks." The better food tastes because it is real, whole, and identifiable, the better I eat and the better I feel. It's expensive in some ways, too, but it's worthwhile.
-When I know I'm going to be busy or am feeling stressed, I always ask myself, "What is going to help me get through this day?" I hear answers now like "stretching" or "yams" or "blueberries" or "riding my bike" or "breathing" or "taking a walk." I'm also fitting back into my summer clothes from several years ago just like I wanted to. I still can't do a pull-up, but that's okay.
You still inspire me every day. You inspire me to make good choices about my whole life, from what I eat to how I move my body to how I make time for myself.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.

My workouts with Cody are always interesting and varied. I like that he always encourages me to try new things (even if I protest) because they force me to push my own boundaries and teach me that I can do things I didn't think I could. Working with Cody has made my body stronger. It is a great feeling to know that I don't have to ask for help in lifting things or that I can handle the extra flights of stairs. The fun workouts and the results combined with the care that he shows for my health and well-being make Cody an excellent trainer to work out with.

I first wanted to train with Cody because of what kind of training he could offer. It was stuff that I couldn’t get anywhere else, and certainly not done on my own. He has gotten me to another level of fitness.

This letter is meant as a testimonial regarding Cody Moss’ ability as a personal trainer. It is my honor to write it. What changed my mind about working with a specific trainer was that within five minutes Cody commented that I was walking with a limp. His observation skills are fine-tuned. I had torn my ACL in March and had done some physical therapy at the clinic shortly after the accident. However, given that the knee seemed stable, I did not pursue extra PT. Cody and I had an in-depth dialogue about my interest in avoiding surgery and doing my part through exercise to prepare my body for Nordic skiing. He gave me the impression he could help me reach my objectives. Based on his knowledge of the body and his interpersonal skills, I decided to invest in 18 sessions with him.We began working together an average of twice a week over the course of four months. I found his manner encouraging and supportive. Cody sensed how far to push me in order to help me reach my target. I was surprised how helpful it is to have a routine and someone to help keep me accountable and provide instruction. I appreciated the combination of strengthening, balance and muscle toning exercises. He also instructed me on exercises which I could do outside of the gym which was an added benefit. I was thrilled with the results of our team effort! I gained muscle tone and strength and succeeded in reaching my target. I cross-country skied four times during the winter; twice for 60 minutes and twice for 90 minutes. I would recommend Cody to anyone, of any age as a personal trainer.
